Hausmann Chamber Music Program

July 29 – August 3, 2024

presented by San Diego State University’s Community Music School

Led by the Hausmann Quartet, with special guest coaches and clinicians

This summer we’re excited to return to SDSU’s School of Music and Dance for our full-day program! The program will be open to dedicated string players and pianists, ages 12-22, by audition. Younger students will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Please note, audition videos are REQUIRED and must include the student playing on their own (with or without piano accompaniment). Videos of the student playing in an orchestra are not accepted.

Early application deadline ($25 discount): April 15

Final application Deadline: June 1. Students will be notified of admission decisions by June 15, with repertoire assignments given soon after.

$25 application fee due with application, full tuition ($500) due 2 weeks before start.

Daily Schedule 9am – 3:30pm

9am – Large group activity (string orchestra, piano ensemble, more)

10am – Coaching & rehearsals

12pm – Lunch

1pm – Coaching / Guided rehearsals

2pm – Masterclass / Special Topic sessions

Performance: Saturday, August 3 at 11am
