Art of Elan

We’re thrilled to return to Art of Elan‘s series at SDMA to perform works by Angelica Negron and Caroline Shaw!

As a complement to the immersive exhibit by Fernando Casasempere which pays homage to the earth and the many shifts it continues to undergo, this unique musical program brings awareness to that which is all around us, featuring the environmentally-minded music of John Luther Adams alongside more culturally focused music by Angelica Negron and Paul Wiancko. Caroline Shaw’s “Plan and Elevation” closes the concert, performed by the Hausmann Quartet.
