Haydn Voyages

Worldly Travelers

November 15, 2020 at 4 PM  |  Maritime Museum of San Diego

The fifth season closes with a trip around the world featuring wonderfully varied journey around the world, with stops in this century’s Middle East and 18th-century France, and of course Haydn’s Austria. Works by two Iranian composers from today (Reza Vali and Aftab Darvishi) share a program with the wonderfully inventive Chevalier de Saint-Georges (remembered as the first classical composer of African descent) who collaborated on many of Haydn’s Paris premieres. Take a trip around the world with us to round out the fifth season of Haydn Voyages!
